In Italy will soon be introduced a new taxes on mass storage devices in support of the SIAE (something like American RIAA). Italy is the only country that has this fee for private copying! :-O
Electronic equipment with mass storage devices will increase the price: mobile phones, hard-disk portable netbooks, digital cameras,
Ipod, Iphone etc …
This system is invasive, the taxes are applied for each gigabyte of memory, of course, have limitations, such as an internal hard drive up to 12 euros (20 euros in 2012) 
the more affected devices are the portable devices that can play audio and video, if they have 250gigabyte memory increase by 30euro!
The solution is to buy in Europe, even in groups to lower shipping costs.

nuove tasse come “EQUO COMPENSO” per la copia privata.
