Yesterday was a bad day! At 5.00 pm my internet provider (Telecom Italia)
has stopped working! until Monday the customer care say that they would not solve anything.
Well I call my mobile operator and I do activate an option for Internet on PC and mobile. (Wind Easy internet: 12.5 eurocents every 25 minutes -> 0.50 every hour without traffic limit).

Ok I connect my phone (Nokia 5800xp) to the PC with the USB cable and I configure it as a modem and…
I realized that connection was very slow and I discovered that in my room there isn’t 3Gs signal, only GPRS!

In my kitchen or out of the window the mobile takes 3Gs,
but USB cable is long 10 centimeters only!:-(

Finally, after an exhausting search at 5kb/s speed, I found a program that can do what I wanted:
to transform the phone into a router.

16 years ago Commodore(in my opinion the best pc ever) failed.

Finally officially it’s released new version of my preferred email client: Thunderbird.
Thunderbird is also a good client for newsgroups, the main novelty is the tab-mail as in firefox.

From the mozilla site:
